Tortellini Soup

Recipe from Karrissa's Kitchen

INGREDIENTS:
1 Roll (about 12 oz.) of Jimmy Dean or Italian Sausage
1 Onion, Diced
5 Cups Beef Broth
1 Cup Water
1 (28 oz.) Can of Diced Tomatoes
1 Cup Thinly Sliced Carrots
1/4 tsp Basil
1/4 tsp Oregano
1 (8 oz) Can of Tomato Sauce (I use a 15 oz can)
1 TBS Parsley
2 Chopped Zucchini
1 (12-16 oz) Bag of Tortellini (I use frozen tortellini and toss it in straight from the freezer and it works great)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Brown the sausage with the onion. Then transfer to large stock pot.
2. Add the other ingredients (except zucchini and tortellini) and bring to a boil then turn down to low and simmer until the carrots are tender. (This usually takes about 30 min.)
3. Then add the zucchini and tortellini and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.

  1. So I am thinking that you need to add a Zeb rating to this. Something funny and witty, perhaps with direct quotes? Just a thought. If I ever get a kitchen of my own again I'm going to cook your chicken noodle soup. And then the egg rolls! YUM. I wrote a cooking tutorial, you should check it out. In a way it was inspired by you but I think you have more credibility in this field.
